Help w/whale penis intake fitment -
Have a '91 CRX Si and there is a brake line coming around the bend of the pass. wheel well that is hitting the intake when installed. Cannot take anything off of the intake to make it fit - how can I deal with this one brake line? It will rub a hole in the intake if I just leave it the way it sits @ the moment - anyone please have some ideas? - thanks in advance.
intake has 1 hole to go to valve cover hose -
soooo, that is the proportioning valve then, and not a brake line?
hmmm, bought this thing 2nd hand and wasn't aware of there being 2
models of it. The one I had previously was plastic & I made it work.
This thing is carbon fiber & most likely more fragile - had to really play
w/the throttle body end for fitment too.

Honestly, why do people buy those intakes? It's common knowledge that they rub on pretty much everything. And it's not like they make anymore power than a normal filter-on-a-stick.
My advice: sell it to someone else and let it be their problem.
