Default please help.... :(

I recently purchased a 1991 Honda accord exr for $300,I was doing a tune up today and noticed what I believe to be rod knock I'm praying it's just noisy valves but if it isn't other than replacing the rods is there any way to get as many Kms out of my motor before she goes boom, lol Thanks for any and all help like I said I'm not 100% it isn't rod knock but it sounds too noisy to be the valves Matt

Rod knock has a knock to it, while valves will sound more like ticking. It would be very helpful if you could get a vid of it.

Disable the cylinders one at a time. If you find that when you disable a particular cylinder the knock goes away, there is likely excessive clearance in a bearing related to that cylinder. If nothing changes, you may have a different cause of the noise.
