short shifter for a del sol vtec?
Ok i tried searching everywhere on here and i cant find what shifters are compatible with the del sol vtec. I tried an integra dual bend and it didnt fit. Anybody know what short shifters can fit without cutting or any ghetto modifications???
it doesnt matter that its vtec or not.. any of those will most likely work.
I been lookin online and it looks like DA integra's use the same shifters as the del sol b-series shift linkage... Anybody know for sure???

Do you mean the shifter or the stabilizer and change levers?
The shifter (part you grab to shift) is virtually the same on all 88-00 civics.
The stabilizer and change levers (the rest of the linkage) come in 4 styles. The regular Civic SOHC, the Civic/Integra DOHC, the Del Sol SOHC and Del Sol DOHC. Due to the Sol having that hump, they are different. You will not find anything compatible from something else, just look for the DOHC linkage or cut the SOHC linkage about an inch and reweld it.

The shifter. Not shift linkage. All i know is all my friends have civics and they switch out their shifters for the OEM 94-01 integra dual bend shifter. I tried the same one and it wouldn't fit.
Ok i just went to the Honda dealership and asked them to look up if the del sol si and the del sol vtec have the same shifter. It's the same part number.
what about the gsr shifter didnt fit? they should be interchangeable. and as you already found out all del sols use the same shift so an aftermarket short shifter will work on all trim levels
