will pistons rings seat with full synthetic motor oil

i put new pistons in with new rings and all i had was castrol syntec 20w-50
the car is smoking some should i just drive it to see if it stop or do i need to get new oil

 

new oil. there are special procedures for breaking in on synthetic.

 

You need the dino-fossil(non-synth) oil for breaking an engine in.

 

you need to break in your new rings with non syn oil
