LOL chill out dude.
I went to the NOPI at atlanta motor speedway in '98 (and '99 I think) when they used to have the autocross challenge (for lots of $$ !) on those huge paved fields at AMS called giant parking lots. (Actually all atlanta autox events were held over there until they made the move to turner field due to too costs going up. Those were the days...) At the '98 show they even had the DC Sports WC Touring team there with both ITRs running the autox course. Awesome sight (and sound) and to see those things get driven around by Lance Stewart and Bob Endicott was just great. (BTW they were placed in EM lol)
So my friend, if you guys convince the NOPI dudes to also hold the autox challenge again, you might see a few more ITRs showing up, doing what they do best. The only reason I've went to NOPI last year (or to any car shows for that matter) is if I have friends who "show" and get me in free
, otherwise my money goes towards other kinds of entry fees.
Hope you guys have fun.

Hee hee!!
I, for one, was just picking on you. A few people who post in here are going, but you probably would have had better luck in the ITR forum
Look for the fire pit in Black C, that's where us we-todds will be.

You need to actually come to a ECHC race and meet the people. What you won't find are a bunch a ricers in pimped out cars doing burnouts, thumping bass, and posing. Nobody's being a dick, some people here just have fun making fun of the punk *** kids that give the import car show crowd a bad name.
As far as Lowes and the "burn" after the ECHC goes, if you're talking about the punk **** in the parking lot doing burn-outs and do-nuts, well, that sure as hell wasn't any of the ECHC crowd.
If you like real racing, come on out. If you're an Icy Hot Stunnah, well, you can just call me a dick too.

Just a hint... if you're planning on running a "Boosted97Lude" in the ECHC, you might want to read the rules. Just a friendly tip.

Have a good time at NOPI.
r2x ~ who is not in the ECHC, is not a guy, and is definitely not a dick.

Dude... relax... I'll agree we might seem "stuck up", but hypocrites? No, not really. But call us anything you like... This is the internet, what do we care?

i have read the rules, i know them, i have spent a lot of extra money to obide by them. yes, it may be another year or 2 before i can get in, but i do plan to run in it as well as other SCCA and NASA events.
but hey, thanks for the heads up anyways

look by removing the sunroof and welding the roof solid, as the rules state
You can cover both sides of the glass with tape and affix metal straps to the roof over the glass (along with wearing arm restraints) or you can remove it and fill the whole in any number of manners.

ok, well the rules i have from like a year ago said you couldn't have a sunroof..... i guess it must have meant glass sunroof, regardless, it would have needed to have been removed, so i did a little weight saving and added a little helmet room all at the sme time
but back to the point, let me know if you are coming down to NOPI

Wish you luck on your build up.

well..... it's actually an LS/VTEC in a 95 LS Integra...... i may end up just putting and stronger LS motor back in it, and taking the LS/VTEC out and selling it to someone for a hybrid swap or something. but then again, i might just build the LS/VTEC up a little and see what it'll do....
