So i got the motor from an 89 si crx but i wanted it in my 90 dx crx. The motor started up fine no problems on first crank before i took out the motor. I used my dx harness and just did what i was told to do in this website http://ef-honda.com/ben/EFwiring.php. Main relay is good starter is good turns over just fine. I kinda hear this weird noise when the engine is cranking though. kinda sounds like the fuel is getting clogged but i can smell the fuel fine ( im running an open down pipe so i can smell it right when i get out of the car). The only problem that i know of is that i am not getting any spark.. Changed cap rotor plugs and plug wires today. still nothing. been workin on this for almost a month now and i need this running! help please!

 

ignition coil buy it and change it out

 

do you know if thats the only reason im not getting spark? because i dont wanna go and change things wasting money if it doesn't need to be changed. no disrespect or anything.
