So i bought a passwordjdm relocation tray and the odyssey PC680 battery that goes with it.
Today I began the relocation!
The positive cable I replaced because it wasn't long enough. The fusebox wire is spliced twice, using butt connectors, because of the necessary length.
The first time I hooked up the battery since its relocation I had the frame ground on the negative terminal unhooked. The car started up just fine but when I used the blinker the temp gauge and rpm gauge pulsed in harmony.
I spent, what seemed like an eternity, hooking the frame ground back up ( the relocation of the battery used the thread hole from the frame ground to attatch the carbon fiber frame. Currently the frame ground and carbon fiber battery tray are attached to the frame using the same bolt and the problem still persists.
The blinker/rpm/temp problem is one of many symptoms btw.
Its dark now so im on hold until tomorrow but for now im just wondering if anyone has any ideas?
Also, the negative terminal is close enough to the frame of the car that they sometimes touch, is that a problem?
Thanks!

It seems as if my alt is failing now, as car lights dim with interior accessories on and each start up more difficult . Could this be my culprit?
Anyone?
Anyone?
sounds like your ground isnt properly connected try to ground your negative to the body and make sure you scuff the area around the bolt you are using for ground and get rid of those butt connectors dont cheap out on the power source to your car
seriously? get a cheap 8 or 6 gauge amp kit, cut the correct length you need and use proper connectors for the wiring. also, for the ground, i'd try sanding the bolt hole down to bare metal, then attaching the ground between the frame and the battery box for a better connection.

If I had known butt connectors were not okay I would not have used them!
Wiring is a dark area for me...
Will quick splices be sufficient, or is there something more suitable?
Thanks guys

I sanded down the transmission ground and the frame ground and their respective cable connections and my problem has been solved.
Thanks for the input!
