Hey guys i've got a 2001 cr-v. The factory seats are very uncomfortable. I was just wondering if anyone has done a seat swap on one or seat pans. thanks guys the help would be awesome and pictures would be great too.

 

you should do a sm-x seat swap they are comfy

they're pretty common out here 3 door mini version of a minivan they have the b20 and get riced out quite a bit. but the seats are really comfy.

I think they are comfortable, almost reminds me of the 99-00 Si seats.

Are they that bad for you?

 

the cr-v seats are terrible i just want to be able to swap them to something more comfortable

 

definately go with the SMX seats or get some seats from a luxury car

 

the sm-x seats look hard to find. I've never heard of the thing before looks dope tho

 

Have u adjusted the lumbar on the seats and messed with them I don't see anything uncomfortable about them minus the fact that I have a 5spd and don't have a drivers arm rest which is on my list of future upgrades ..... I actualy think the crv is a pretty comfortable honda compaired to a lot of hondas out there

 

That's what I thought too actually. I have heard of people complain of stock EG seats and that's why they get DC seats instead.

 

yes i have adjusted everything and even have the arm rest its just the long drives that kill. Its not just me its everyone in my family. I can see the newer crv seats being much better but these ones just don't do it like my prelude.

 

I'd take the power seats from a Pilot or an Odyssey if I want comfort.

 

i have the smx back in my country before.. also a gen.1 V..
seems like both have comfy seats, now i even autocross my V
here but i couldnt hold up on a road course...

why not look for the newer Si or civic seats, theyre much comfy
compared to my Vs seats now..
