My 93 sol parts car
so i have a 97 del sol s that i loved until my garage door took out the front half of it. I didnt want to replace the parts with aftermarket stuff so i started to look for oem parts. Then i was on craigslist and found a shell for $400. I called the guy up and he said it was his kids car but he wanted it out of his garage and he had a title for it. i asked him what shape the nose was in and he said good condition. I took the hour ride down to look at it and found a 93 del sol si with 4 si seats and a whole crap load of parts. It came with 4 fat 5's and webs on it. It has tokico struts and coils. The interior was removed but still had it and all the trim was removed to check for rust. My heart wanted to offer him 250 lol but i couldnt do it. When i got it home and cleaned up from all the tree mold i found this beautiful samba green paint (refer to picture). So now i am gonna strip my 97 s and put my minime in the 93 and run that lol.[IMG]

the only thing i dont understand about the car is that there is no place for the marker plate on the back. I will take a picture of the rear of the car when i get home. Where the plate is suppose to be has been filled in. I think it looks cool just not sure where to put the plate now. I will prolly end up taking the bracket off of my car. Just wondering if any one has seen this before?

so i started to remove the trim and found a rust hole in the top left of the A pillar. The windsheild was pitted anyway so i removed it and found a few small holes. I blasted the area and cleaned it up and sprayed this liquid from eastwood that acts like spray foam but then when it dries it dries it shrinks to cover just the metal to stop the rusting on the inside. Then i used lead free body solder to fill the holes and completed it with a small bit of light weight filler no just need to sand and block the rest of the car and she'll be ready for a fresh coat of paint. I also stripped the interior out besides the door panels.

Tonight i pulled the a/c coil out from under the dash and pushed the wire harness back through behind the blower motor. I started to make a new wireharness that was the exact length for every object. I removed the pass side fender so i can run the wires all stealthy and stuff lol.
