ok heres the deal, im having some trouble with my clutch. for starters i have replaced the master and slave cylinder and bleed the system a number of times. i also have tryed adjusting the pedal... ** the problem** when i push the clutch in sometimes the pedal will not return to the top. i can feel it working. but for some reason it only travels half way back up. i do have some play at the top but it does stiffin up as it travles down.
any ideas would be great.

The clutch pressure plate is possibly bad. It provides the resistance and spring in the pedal.
