brought a si with no motor in the engine bay ok so i put a jdm b16a 2nd gen in my eg si... using a 95 gsr harness, and a chiiped p61 (no knock sensor all i know, its my friend ecu). i have no cels idle really smooth, runs really smooth..first problem had a bad vss so vtec wasnt engaging, fix that.. now u cant hear my vtec at all... while u drive if u really really pay attention u could barley hear.... i know i check my oil level its good, but black, i need to do an oil change.. still i know my vtec there cause when my vss wasnt working my **** was f'n slow!!! felt like my car couldnt breath anymore at 7k to 8k.. and once i got the vss fix it pulls really good..but still no bAMMMMMM vtec sound wtf??? my cluster if a little f'up cause my speedo doesnt stay still at high speed, but it works.... my cousin drove it and told me my vtec wasnt engagin or he just couldnt feel it???? so help me!!!!! everything is stock except i have a cold air intake and like 4-6 extra plug from the gsr harness, and i took out my knock sensor cause i broke and dont really need it cause i running this ecu or with a p28

Change your oil, as long as its clean and full and you have no cels it should work. If not test your vtec solenoid by putting 12v to the wire, you should here it click open and then closed when you remove the 12v source.
