any disadvantages to having UR SS pullies?
I am going to install my crank, power steering and alt. pulleys on friday, are there any disadvantages I should be looking forward to? If you are going to say that it is harder to steer b/c of the p/s pulley, I dont have any p/sing now, so it couldn't be any worse
Weakening an already weak electrical system, causing the crank to vibrate and the seals to break down, the low gains you will see for the amount of money and work you will put it. Its a hassle that I dont think is worth it.
hummm... that doesn't really sound good. I already have most bolt ons that I want, next mods are going to be my turbo kit, so this was the last thing I could think of to do... do you guys have any other mod suggestions?

I would do all of that at the same time... as far as the turbo build, cams... etc.
how does it make the engine leak oil? just from the vibrations?
Does anyone have this set and have any experiences?
thanks for the info guys.

AS I SAID.. i have the UR crank pulley.
about 3k miles after putting on it 3 years ago, pools of oil developed under where i park my car (front main seal). could be coincidence, but ive heard enough other people complain... and I would agree with coincidence except ive replaced the front main seal twice to have the same thing happen.
on the upside the undercarriage of my car is rust-proof.
you have an h22a, but on my F22A1 I felt no difference in vibration or power .. obviously.
edit: tonight i will take a picture of the oily mess this crankpulley has caused.

how hard is it to replace the seal? just curious.

Not worth it. Get the AEM pulleys, which won't **** up the engine. The pulley also causes wear on the main bearings.

I agree with B da turbo pimpster... avoid this and go with the AEM's if you must have this mod. I think a lightened flywheel would be your best bet if you're looking to reduce your rotating mass.
