What size injectors, 270cc or 310cc
Im trying to figure out what size would be best for my motor:
B18b, 11.3:1 CR, Crower 403 cams, Jdm header and 2.5 inch exhaust, ported and polished, balenced, fpr, safc (hondata down the road or something) blah blah blah
that is for right now, in the near future i will be adding: intake manifold, 64mm tb
i'm probally looking at being around 200whp, so what should i be looking for, 270 or 310? also should i get saturated or peak?
sorry if i sound a little vague, injectors are probally one of the only things im unsure about, thanks

not to be an *** but with that setup your not going to see 200whp.........so the stock injectors should be just fine.........
if you can find a set of 97+ prelude VTEC injectors (280-290cc) then just go for those. but even then you will probably not need them.
good luck

i happen to know someone with a B18B with 12.5:1 endyn pistons. race ported head and crower 404's, skunk2 manifold, bored T/B plus all the other bolt on goodies and he's making about 180-185whp tuned with a wideband o2 sensor......
403's are pretty mild.......i have the 403's and i like them but 200whp N/A with the 403's is very un-realistic.....

the 310's might be overdoing it.
your motor would survive with just under 300's, sumthing like a 270 is good enough for now.

i will probally just stay stock for now utill I can get some dyno tuning done and she what the motor is doing, but I guess it would be good to go for the 270s for nothing else than to keep the fuel pressure a little lower, right? or would this still be over kill?

Also when I had Toda B cams I maxed out the 310cc/min injectors...had them logged at 98% duty cycle, switched out to 440cc/min injectors and they were at a comfortable ~70% duty cycle.
Some applications and vehicles require more fuel than others...my current setup is producing more power than my old Toda setup and requires smaller injectors, there are many variables playing parts in your cylinder efficiency.

I think a set of 310's would be nice but not completely necessary. I have 198hp/140tq on stock 94GSR injectors. I know I can probley get a little more with some 270 or 290 prelude injectors. That would be ideal.
do you know what size injectors he is running?

my freind is running stock injectors. and he had a custom ECU dyno tuned with a wideband o2 sensor. it was tuned by a well known tuner.......probably one of the best so i would assume that the stock injectors did just fine for his setup......
if you can find a set of prelude VTEC 290cc injectors then go for those...........there probabaly the most cost effective........
good luck
