Icon2 95 civic, aftermarket alarm, wont start

I have a 95 civic with a b16 swap. It has an aftermarket alarm in it that would not stop going off one day so i disconnected it. I then reconnected it and the car wont start. I chased it down and pulled the alarm system out of it and it still wont start. I just put a new distributor on it and still nothing. Can anyone help me figure this thing out? I could really use some suggestions and feedback.

Did they have the alarm wired into the ignition switch in any way? They might have had it wired so it wouldn't start if it's disconnected or gone. Does it crank or not when you try to start it?

It cranks but it gets no spark. The timing belt is good so i know that isn't the problem. I have had one person tell me that there is some sort of reset box in the car???? And another told me that if the fuel pump goes out that it will stop spark??

Did you short anything out? Did you re-connect all the wiring back correctly?

check everything at the ignition harness, and fuse boxes. if it didn't start before the dizzy swap, it sounds like there is a kill on an ignition wire or a popped fuse for the coil.

If it is caused by the alarm not being in it how would i find that out?? The main harness doesn't look as if anything has been re-pinned but there is a wire that is just soldered in there. The alarm was being hella annoying one day so i cut the wire to the horn so it would shut up. The car wouldn't do anything with that wire cut. I reconnected the wire and it fired right up and i drove away. Im starting to think that the alarm really has nothing to do with it just happened to happen.

The car still cranks and i checked the ECM fuse and its good. The IG fuse is still good too. This car is really staring to frustrate me.
