Looking for the newer Garrett intercooler with the larger cast endtanks...

...but I can't find any vendors.

Not saying you are wrong, but did the person who then assembled this FMIC just get some Garrett stickers to put on the end tanks??? Are you sure that Garrett doesnt make full IC's?

incorrect, that is a intercooler off the chevy cobalt kit no longer made

Garrett does not make end tanks

 

Do you get on here to just rag on people? They do sell these intercoolers. I have had 3 different people from here PM me saying they sell them. They are cast endtanks with garrett in the casting.

I mean, I understand it is off the Cobalt line... but my thread was asking where to get one, and now I know where and that I can get one. So I dont know what you are getting across to me.

 

It just seems like the I/C isn't that new that's all don't have to rag on each other jeez.

 

I bought the intercooler in the image above from ATP turbo and I can confirm that the Garrett logos are indeed cast into the tanks. However it is very possible that they are ATP endtanks that they have cast Garrett logos into because they use their cores. ATP and Garrett work very closely together.

In the end, the tanks are nice and transition nicely into the core.

 

did u paint the core or does it come that color.

 

It was anodized by the customer. We painted the tanks black.

 

i would like it alot more if it didnt have anything to do with a cobalt.
