Default Honda Accord 4cyl VTEC Tranny Swap

I was given an idea about swapping my stock auto tranny from my accord, and putting in an RSX 6 speed tranny. The reason why i bring this topic up is because this was my first car and i want to keep it. But, also want to make tip top. Plus would be upgrading the 4 cyl to high performance and adding turbo.

Money is not an issue but it wouldn't hurt to save.

Do you guys think this is possible or bad idea?

Lol, fail thread tbh.

Best you can do is a ITR w/ the LSD which will make your car F2B
or
The H22A that came with the LSD.

Bravo! If it werent for blazers like yourself, we would never have seen a V6 civic, or a K20 CRX, H22 Accords, G23s or AWD integras. The list goes on!

Being that this is the 1990-2002 Accord Forum and the Accord four cylinder engines rotate counter-clockwise while the TSX uses the K series clockwise rotating engine. It's kind of hard to see how that's going to work as intended.

Ronaldo2121 you may be in the wrong forum, what year is your Accord?

I know Im just juicing the guy. Funny you mentioned the rotation situation. Im running K20a3 pistons in my G23 and I had to install them backwards to address the pin offset issue!

Haha, if I can put in a K20 6spd Trans in my old F22B1, I would never swap in my H22.

The problem here wouldnt be six speeds of reverse, they would still be foward gears, but the differential would be in front of the engine instead of behind it, and the custom adapter plate would be the least of his worries. An H series trans(non SH ATTS) would be the best bet.
