this car has been so well maintained and so well driven that it REALLY shows. like after removing the Vcover to do inspection and adjust the valves, and after pulling off the pan to do pan gasket (just had one laying around that was new so figured WTH, and after hand-spinning the entire rotating assembly, everything just looks so good. ive done 100's of 90K tune-ups on many different hondas and acuras and i can honestly tell you that if i was told it had 90K on it and by just looking under the valve cover, or from below the pan, i would not even doubt you. of course i was told that synthetic was used for the entirety of its life and i have no doubt of that.

PERFECT COMPRESSION EVEN THOUGH IT HAS 134,080 MILES ON IT.

AND AS FAR AS I CAN TELL OR, THAT WE KNOW OF.. THIS MOTOR HAS NEVER BEEN OUT OF ITS BAY.

each billet motor mount was installed one at a time and while motor was properly supported.

ALL WIRES ARE MINTY AS THE DAY THE ROLLED OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE AT THE FACTORY. ALL GROUNDS ARE MINTACIOUS TOO.

TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND GOING OFF OF VEHICLE MAINTENANCE HISTORY (which is pretty damn detailed), AND UPON VISUAL INSPECTION, THE HEAD HAS NEVER BEEN UN-TORQUED FROM THE BLOCK.

PROBABLY THE ORIGINAL ONE. LIKE HONDA SAYS AT THE TRAINING SEMINARS... OEM IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS 95% OF THE TIME. AND WHEN IT COMES TO HEADGASKETS ON ALL-MOTOR APPS I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE THEY ARE THE ****! AT LEAST WITH MY EXPERIENCE.

the OEM clutch is awesome. the sound of the motor and the exhaust are pretty darn nice. took a while to get everything perfect as im a perfectionist, but i am very pleased with the note of the exhaust and VERY happy with the powerband. very linear.

it aint missin much. i just do not give two ***** about interior eventually it will just get sprayed and caged up a bit. oh but oh yeah there IS road noise, so if that stuff bothers you or your gf or something, you might want to put the interior back in. i will give you evertything i have for it. which is a truckload. there is a lot of it all neatly and methodically organized.

as for sound.. i just turn up the badass stock cd player with nice speakers all around (x4) and listen to my guccimane, big boi, stone roses, or personal fave right now...

but yeah when i got it, it was on pizza cutters and steelies, stock suspension, MINT freakin motor. basically i bought the swap for what i would charge a customer for such a badass and grandma'd out B16 swap and got a free EM1 with the deal lol. and it did have a couple small issues cosmetically with cf hood, missing lips n ****, and needed some wiring clean up on the tps no biggie there, oh yeah its got new TPS, new TB, new this and new that on the intake mani. new 02 sensor from HONDA, and other stuff.. but really the car just needed some L-O-V-E. and oh have i given it to her LOL.. at the chagrin of my girl, it became my mistress if you wiill.. and my project was sure fun.

lol its really not that clean but thank you man. it has 5 DINGS the biggest about the size of a quarter quotes from the best paintless dent guy in seattle was 300 for all of em since the interior was already out and stuff. it does look clean as hell from like 10 feet away though haha. gets me JOCK'd the hell out when i drive it. so clean lookin with the Mugen Lip and no Silly Si badges or with that retardedly useless spoiler.

oh and it WAS bought brand new at the dealership WITHOUT a spoiler, and WITHOUT fogs.. just so we are clear. cause ive had three people tell me that "Si's didnt come without spoilers and fogs"... WTF LOL

and oh yeah the PANELS, DASH, ALL SEATS are in great freaking condition. nothing cracked or ripped or torn. no one even sat int he back seats as far as i know. like EVER.

and i have ALL the brackets, hardware, and belts, and fasteners for the rear seats..

oh and NO... there is NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS lol.

been asked about that one like ten times this week.

 

I have a FBP 2000 Hx (turned si clone) and living in this college town w/o a garage has turned it from decently clean to horrible condition.

So a nice looking FBP coupe is nice to see!

I JUST picked up the Carbon Fiber Sunroof Plug made by the ONLY company in the US that actually knows what the hell they are doing when it comes to custom carbon plugs.

the kit is super complete and im about to install it when my girl gets home and thanks again to the ****** EFFIN man Mister James "JsRacingEM1" who got a text that my girl was in his town for business and had about an hour to meet up with her. so now i am actually the owner of the lighterfaster CARBON FIBER Moonroof Plug!!!
