Finding the best line? Pic included
I'd be happy to point it out but I dunno where the start and finish is.
Karting? What kind of power do the karts put out? are they rear brake only? If they're really momentum machines, then it may change the strategy a bit...

Is there a way to carry more momentium through this turn?

That way you are in better position to attack the second curve
The line that Spikey produced is about the best you can do with a track map.
How you deal with the short radius hairpin depends on a lot of factors that cannot be represented with a drawing.
In slow - out fast is my advice.

Cool. Thanks for eveyones help. Its hard to slow down before it seems like I need to, but I guess you have to in order to set yourself up for the exit turn.
tsunami_zc has it almost the way I would suggest....but...
for that "S" turn your having problems with, you will want to be right in the middle of the track during the mid-turn when you slow down. this way you will not need to brake as severely to make the turn. you should end up on the outside lane when your done. heres a picture.
only problem with tsunami's diagram i see is that people will be fighting for that inside tight turn, and it might be better to run it slightly outside that danger zone so you can keep your momentum up.

Looks like Allsports GP in Sterling to me.
Me and some other H-T guys ran an enduro there a couple months ago. Quite fun. I'll show you the line I like to take around there, but for our enduro they pulled out one of the bariers before the last turn, just to give it a new flavor.
Also, I don't think that diagram is very accurate anymore. The left-hander setting up for the tight hairpin doesn't double back as much as shown, as far as I can remember.
BTW, they have a map posted up on the wall that shows the optimal line through the track.
Here. Try this.
This would be a qualifying line. If you have someone behind you, you will get nabbed at the hairpin every time.
