hey guys i was checking my cels today cuz a few happen to come up as i was driving. so i get home pull the blue plug and hook up the piece of wire and i start reading the codes =3, 7, 17. so i go to clean up the plugs as it was raining today and they usually get water and cause the check engine light to come on. i disconnect the neg. and then put it bak. go to check the codes again and the light does not want to blink, it stays lit up. wat could this possible b?

You cleared the codes from the ECU by disconnecting the battery, and the codes have not yet returned.

 

ya. wen i went bak to check it after a test drive the cel light did not want to flash it just stayed lit. any ideas? but the problem is still there. like the tps went bad so it hesitates bad and guzzles alot of gas.

 

Bump anyone ?

 

Get a new tps, disconnect battery and test drive till the cel comes back on(if it does return) then pin the jumper harness
