the other day when i was runnin my car in autocross once i got up into the higher rpm's vtec would kick in and out. i checked the oil level and its fine...

think it could be starving around a turn or if it might be the dizzy goin out?

plz help i have another event this weekend and need to get this problem taken care of asap.

sounds like an oil pressure problem, just because you have plenty of oil does not mean you cant have a drop in pressure! vtec will stop working long before the light will come on! thy get a gauge on there!

also check your solenoid/ wiring etc

is it obd1? vtec oil pressure switch?

 

get the mugen oil pan , harsh corners can cause sudden changes in oil pressure.

 

Was your speedo working correctly at the time?
Try removing the vtec solinoid and cleaning it, and the screen.

 

yea my spedo works just fine. but i have noticed that my tach figits arround higher rpm's

ill clean the solenoid and screen. see how well that helps.
