About wires plug// Photo?

Default About wires plug// Photo?

Hello, I have JDM v-tech d15 motor. Can i swap out the JDM header because the connector are not same with u.s d15 header and the same with the alternator and distributor.. I'm asking because v-tech engine harness have been cut out so can i use my original d15 engine harness, but some of the plugs are different..Anyone here have that issuse before.. I hate when wires are screw up... damn..

well the issure is you have obd1 parts and a obd2 engine. to make the engine run right and assuming your car is obd1 you need to convert it. put the obd1 altenator,fuel injectors, and find a obd1 vtec distributer. then you can run the engine as obd1. also you will have to get the vtec plugs if you dont already have them. they can be purchased at RYWire.com but you will have to wire those plugs into your engine harness that came with your car. good luck

Yes my car obd1 which CIvic 92. I have the original obd1 parts so i can use then on the JDM motor without any issuses? Not sure about the vtec plugs but will look into it, and what "ecu." would recommend on this jdm motor??

just unscrew the jdm o2 sensor and put you usdm in it's place

You can also swap out the wiring portion from your original d series distributor into the JDM distributor or use a distributor adapter. Check my signature if you need the VTEC wiring. Use the P28 or P08 ECU. BTW what model civic did you have (ex, lx, cx, etc?) Is that picture your old motor or the new one?
