Default Recommend some gauges! I spent too much on Defi back then

Hey guys...I'm building a new car and I need some recommendation on which gauges to get. I ran Defi gauges in my old car but don't really want to spend that kind of money again on gauges so I wanted to know what you guys are running or recommend on running. I'll spend money on good ones just don't want to spend a grand on 3 gauges and a control unit again. I hear of so many new ones and I still hear to steer away from autometers. Please let me know!! Thanks!!

I really liked my defi gauges. But now I use autometer and they work just fine. Just make sure to stick with the full sweep electrical stuff and you should be fine. They have nice sleek sendors not those old school bulky ones that you had wire yourself. Sport-Comp II, Ultra-lite II, Phantom II series should do just fine.

Even better, get something like a tunerview that lets you monitor all the engine sensors in one package. You can easily wire in oil pressure and wideband to work with it so you just need one display unit and a few aux inputs. I'm thinking about consildating some my my stuff. Thrre gauge pillar, plx m300, and tuner view on the dash are starting to look a little cluttered

Thanks guys. I will definitely keep those in mind. I'll do more research now. Have you guys heard anything about the ProSport gauges. Another shop was recommending those to me....

Does the tunerview display boost pressure, oil pressure and fuel pressure also?

the ecu reads the map sensor so boost will be displayed. oil pressure and fuel pressure would need an external 0-5v sensor to display

Ok I get it. How does the wideband part of it work? Do I just tap into the Ecu for that reading?

Your wideband probably has an analog output that you'd run to the ECU. The display has a selectable input for wideband data with two breakpoints for linear widebands and sensor setup for all 4 of the available inputs with 15 breakpoints. No matter what wideband you're using you're likely covered even if it's not perfectly linear.

This is what we use on our cars. Their really accurate, look good and are affordable.

We have them available in oil pressure, boost, fuel pressure, and water temp.

They all come with sending units and everything need to hook it up.

to HRT.......hondata has other analog inputs, i use one of them for fuel pressure. it can be easily adapted for fuel pressure.

can they be added to the tuner view? i am seriously contemplatine the t2. the pictures that a hobbs has been posting have peaked my interest. i would like to put it in the cluster. like he did.

Yes, all 4 inputs can be defined for the Honda EMSs that support it. The new pictures he's posted aren't of the TV2 though.
