JDM ITR engine bogging on the 1st start of the day
in the morning when i start my car, it has a jdm itr motor.. it bogs and almost dies before returning to normal idle, i've heard that because the fuel we use here in states the octane rating isnt as high as japan, thats why it happened. Can anyone tell me why its having a cold start problem?

........unless your refilling at "Jimmy's gas bar" .....the fuel shouldn't be a problem.......whats the octane you currently use?

I never had a problem starting my ITR motor (I used no lower then 92 octabe most times 93 9That's the highest they have in GA).
