hey everyone ive got a bit of a predicament here i have a motor out of a 07crv that i need to put in my 07 accord i know there is some differences like where the oil filer location and drive shafts, if anyone has any info on this swap let me know
In this case the OP wants to swap a K24 variant with a different K24 variant. Should not be overly difficult.
If by plug and play you mean a device which facilitates the discovery of hardware in a system, without the need for physical configuration; then no, it is not plug and play.
Both these engines are pretty much the same. I don't see any problems at all with this swap.
The only differences are in the engine components. The size and configuration of the cylinder head, and the block are identical. Don't expect to be able to install the engine without first inspecting the intake and exhaust manifold, alternator, ac compressor, and sensors. Some of these components may need to be swapped out for the ones on the accord engine.
Any competent Honda technician should be able to complete this swap in a few days. But like I said, you cannot assume anything here. Everything must be inspected and compared before installation.

not to be a party pooper but the swap is going to take some work. Blocks are way diffrent like oil filter where half shaft should be and sutch. Also the intake manifold lies a diffrent configuration bc it is mostly plastic and uses a totaly diffrent setup for coolant passages and egr flow. Good luck keep us posted on the build>
