BRAGGING RIGHTS! Honda vs. Nissan (Part 1)
I'm up late and you gotta look at what i ran into. I know I'm late on the bus here. But here we go again. Gotta say glad things turned out.
The show was hosted by Super 2NR and was a battle down from the SER.com and honda-tech.com members for prizes and $10K.
The track: Willow Springs, CA.
Enjoy the video.

Actually, seven years ago. I still see half those Nissan guys all the time (Martin Gonzalez, Mike Kojima, Rod Cadle, ect.). It's amazing how young they looked even though it was only 7 years ago. Back when that show taped, the So-Cal Nissan SE-R cup race and the Pro Sedan (where I ran my CRX in PS-2 prior to the forming of Honda Challenge in SoCal) race ran in the same run group. The Nissans had power and torque but lacked handling, the Hondas in PS-2 had no power but did have cornering power and handling and we were usually a couple of seconds faster per lap than them.
Oh, how time flies.

I enjoyed that. Around 2003 is where I kind of fell out of the scene for a bit with other priorities. It's always nice catching up.
