Default Testing Waters: 99 Civic EX (SI Clone)

NEW PICS ARE UP!!!! (9/9/10)

I just picked up the civic I actually sold locally about a year and a half ago.

Since I have sold it the only thing to change on the car is that the bay has been painted black, and the purchaser had put Fat Fives on it.

It literally sat in his garage for a year and a half, and doesn't have a single mile more on it than when I sold it. I was the one to drop it off at his place, and I picked it back up today. He was moving and couldn't bring it with him, so I decided to help him out and buy it back.

Here is a link to my previous FS Thread that has pictures:
http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show....php?t=2490557

Pic from today when I brought it home, I'll get more by the end of the week. I work on the road, so I may be slow to respond to questions or PM's.

ALSO, the AP1 Wheel is no longer in it. I stole that for my Hatch before I sold the shell, and it will be staying in my hatch.

Shell literally has 5,850 miles on it.

The front bumper needs the bolts/clips on the side, and is only held in by 2 clips on the core support right now. I think I have extra stuff laying around and I'll get it squared away.

Paint around washer nozzles, and on body line of hood peeling a little - car does come with carbon hood that needs re-cleared.

Clear Coat and along Rain gutter: Cover it in Di-Noc (Just did the roof on my Hatch)

Minor Minor damage in rear quarter - I could probably put a suction cup on it and pop it, and may even try later today if the sun pokes through the clouds:

Mirror Scrape - from previous owner's kid riding his bike by it supposably. I have a stock set of black mirrors (abs) I'll throw in if its that big of a deal to you.

Mismatched Seats, but they're both there and work properly. For additional $ I can include EP3 seats, or red S2K's, or my GSR Dark Grey leather that is in my hatch currently.

OEM CD Player - I don't have the code off hand but if I remember correctly it is written on the top of it.

DX Cluster (not original to car, but hell, at least it comes with a cluster).

OEM SI muffler, Rear Tien springs, OEM Foglight wiring (I believe it already has the switch in the dash, but I'll have to double check). I also have the mid-pipe of the exhaust, brand new that comes with it. Also, the red thing is a GSR Front Strut bar that the guy apparently thought would look better in wrinkle red that the OEM black when I gave it to him...

FYI: I'm 12 hours from Everett area, 6 from Spokane, and about 7 from Tri-Cities. I would be willing to meet part way, or possibly deliver for the cost of fuel if someone was serious. We'd be looking at approx $300 in fuel for my Powerstroke tothe Everett area give or take a few bucks. Delivery would depend on when I could find time away from work (On call 24/7/365).

Shoot me some offers and we can go from there!

I would also be willing to accept trades. Car parts, Stock EG?!, Car Trailer (Sick of borrowing my friend's all the time), guns, anything I deem cool really...

If I don't have any bites in the next couple weeks I will probably just swap my single cam in it and use it as a DD while the K goes in my hatch, then just give it to my girlfriend to mob around in.

I'll get fresh pics hopefully this morning before I have to leave town for work. As soon as my girlfriend heads into work I plan on showering and going out to wash it. I don't know what the hell the guy did to make the bumper so far off, but I'll get it mounted properly too.

More Pics, some show the minor damage the car has (paint flaking, dent), the trunk shot is of the Rear Tein springs for it, and the cardboard box is the OEM Fog Light wiring for the OEM foglights. The interior shot shows the mismatched seats, the shift boot that needs to be properly installed, etc...

It's even got 1 B-Series axle!

The car does have an OEM SI Muffler, and OEM Replacement Mid Pipe, all the way up to the header that comes with it as well.

The hood is Carbon, but the previous owner sanded the clear, I believe with the intention of getting it re-cleared...

122 Views, and not one single comment about the car?

Bump!

I know if I had this in WA it'd be gone in a heartbeat for what I want for it...

Bump, shoot offers. I'm open to trades, let me know what youve got!

I need for my K24/K20 swap:

K-Pro
Wiring Harness
87MM Pistons

I'd trade it for a flatbed trailer, even if needed some work (as long as I can get it home!)

Guns? (I am a big hunter, not a serial killer or thug life wannabe)

Wheels/Tires for my 1 Ton Ford F-350? (Aftermarket obviously)

Turbo (big, to power the K series)

Running EG hatch, coupe, or sedan - stock would be fine, but want something fairly clean/straight. Of course I don't expect it to be perfect.

If no one picks it up within a couple weeks, or makes a serious offer on it I am more than likely just going to keep it and throw the D16 swap from my hatch in it and keep it.

I could easily sell this car for $3500 with a single cam in it locally. If by the 5th, no one has made a legit offer on it, I am putting a single cam swap in it, and posting it in the local paper and on craigslist. This would be light work for someone who had a swap laying around, and wanted to make a few bucks...

Was just offered a $3000 matco tool box, and $500 cash locally. Too bad I've already got more tool box than I need, lol.

Up - I'm now searching for an engine and trans, or basically another wrecked car to transplant a heart from. The shell will still be for sale until I come across one.

It hasn't had a bath in quite some time. If the weather holds out tomorrow and stays clear I am going to be washing my hatch, so I'll make sure to roll her back and clean it up too and get some fresh pics. I'm probably going to start getting it ready to swap a stock engine/trans in to, and try to get it that much close to driving when I find a donor car. It needs the brakes flushed yet too...

Willing to accept Trades or Trades + Cash!

EK_RedSiR, I wish you still had those SiR bumpers!
