Selling this D16Y8 for a buddy cause he's not too good with the internet. The bottom end of this only has about 5000 miles on it. It has Wisco pistons at 8.5:1 compression ratio, eagle rods, all ARP hardware, fresh oem bearings and gaskets at assembly and a golden eagle block guard which I know is bad but when this was assembled it was a new thing and thought to be good. The head is a BRAND NEW never ran DH Racing head, fully ported, built valve train. The only thing stock in the head is the cam. Also comes with ported intake and 50mm throttle body. Why do you think that block guard is bad?

 

I dunno I thought there was something about it makes pressure in the cooling system.

 

Running a block guard can cause uneven cooling between cylinders causing hot spots which can lead to engine failure/head gaskets blowing/over heating/ etc.
