how to replace the ICM, control module? 92 LX
my accord won't start, it's cranking strong but no start, no spark. replaced ignition coil and distrib. rotor. still nothing. need the car running asap so couldn't order ICM off honda, when to autozone instead for $50. currently trying to replace it. heres a pic of the stuff inside the distributor.

there are a lot of crap to take off before reaching to the ICM. can't even see the other screw. seems like i have to remove that big bug of metal on the end of the shaft. how do i properly remove everything?? thank you.
already did the ICM input test and everything. everything was getting small voltage and checks out so need to replace it according to the manual.

There are two screws underneath the wires connected to the ICM. Remove them and the ICM comes out. Refer to your digital picture for hooking the connectors up correctly, if you need to.
hey can i get the pdf manual also asphaltkicker@yahoo.com much appreciation

Thanks for the info. I was having the same problem removing ICM. Heading to auto parts store hoping this BWD ICM will be a good replacement for the Hitachi I just removed from my 1990 Accord EX...?
