Texas Honda Challange???
Anyone out there interested in beginning a Nasa Texas Region Honda Challenge? My buddy & I (Civic Si & Integra R) are looking to woop up on some fellow Honda racers...
I'm tired of hearing about how much fun the ECHC boys are having! Let's get this going!

There is some talk about NASA-AZ region that will already use the ECHC classing, now, YOU have to working on getting the cars and sponsors to the events! 20 car field is a MUST for your own run group, contact your local NASA region big cheese, find enough people that will run it next year, and GO!
Guys, you gotta get someone who will step up like scott and karl did and bust their *** to get it done, make contacts with racers/NASA/sponsors.. Someone has got to step up, and have at LEAST 10 people who vow to go to every race..
just askin. i dont want to step up, but if someone needs help i can offer. you said there is talk. who is talkin? or just the same chickensiht here on ht?
RRG.com will offer support for any new Honda-Challenge series started.
PERIOD.
AZ, TX, OHIO, West Coast H-C, or any other NASA regions.
There you go...........
You already have your first contingency sponsor. The contingency role details will be worked out with the organizers and or region directors.
RRG.com is a firm believer in NASA and the H-C.
NASA VA. ECHC is a great idea, but its the folks that run and organize it that has made it successful. I hope the other regions have people like the ones here.

Corey - I hope its not all talk.
H-C is too much fun to keep it to ourselves and I'm looking forward to the first NASA Honda-Challenge Run-offs.
I would say VA region would take 4 of the 5 classes, maybe a clean sweep.
- too bad SCCA has a copyrights on the term " Run-offs"-

2nd, 3rd, etc. time around should be a little easier. I would certainly hope that these other regions would follow the formatting and rules already set out by the ECHC. If so, then you've got your template and a working example to bring to your region. Getting the racers together is the big challenge. Once it gets going it seems to draw it's own support, but convincing a whole crew of HPDE instructors/advanced drivers to start racing sounds like the tough part.
I'm interested.
I have a 1992 Civic DX Hatchback
I'm hoping to have a 6-point Autopower cage installed by Feb '04. Then I'm off to see if I can get a log book.
I'm in Oklahoma City to I will definitely make the Hallett Race, but probably only 1 of the Texas Events.
