Default ED (Hatch Si) to EE (wagon) Swap Compatibility Q's???

So I found this 1990 Honda Civic Wagon for $300. I guess first gear slips a little bit and the front end is obvious from the pics. So moving on ha ha, I have a 1991 Civic Si that I just found out has something bent on it, frankly sick of dealing with this car so I want to attempt to take the LS swap out of that car and put it in the wagon if I get it. Now, I also have a number of other parts such as upper and lower sway bars, rear triangulated sway bars etc, you get the point. How much similarity is there between these two body styles? I know zero about the wagons, am I going to be out a ton of cash getting what I need to accomplish the engine swap?

Also, I know it's a long shot but I couldn't find a solid answer, will the hood or fenders from my hatch fit the wagon? Thanks, any insight into whether it seems like a good buy or good idea is welcome, good and bad

Again thanks, if this seems absolutely rediculous, stop me.

None of the panels swap over. The engine shouldn't be an issue though.

Okay, well the engine is good news and the panels I knew was a very long shot. So the mounts will line up alright?

I guess I should have thrown it out there I've only done one swap and it was the same engine replacing the old one. This will be the first I am doing on my own, so just wanting to be prepared.

Also real quick, is this car worth $300 and all that the swap involves? I know it's oppinion, but chances are yours is more educated than mine would be.

I know if I had my own choice I'd be taking home a CRX Si or Del Sol Si

I'm very partial to sedans and wagons, so i would say it is worth it. Things are only worth what the individual is willing to pay though.

As far as mounts go, it's no different then swapping into a different ED/EF.

I gotcha, Just didn't want to buy something with no potential. I wasn't sure how hard it would be to find a hood and fender for it. Thanks for the input!

The issue you will find with the wagons over here.

Is the wagon front is specific to wagon's.

If you find fenders for them grab them same as hood.

They are mint.

My buddy has a complete set for his wagon for just in case.

He right now is trying to talk me into a wagon.

The fenders wont fit but you can get a hood to fit. You can try www.hondacivicwagon.com

I hate to say it but they sold it to someone else... At least now I know. That's alright though, I really wanted a CRX.
