Ok early today im driving in the highway around 55mph im on 3RPM i notice im hitting the gas and its not moving faster like kicking in more and the temperature went up from avg temp about 3 to 4 lines up i slow down it goes down and back to normal.when i get to the parking lot i hit the gas and its going on its normal rpm like 1 to 6 i dont let it reach the red line can anyone let me know whats up can it be the throttle cable???

 

it wont be the throttle cable. any check engine lights?

 

nah beside the air bag light that been on since i got the car but after that stunt it went threw everything is fine now i just wanna know why it did that i have a automatic by the way.
