Speedo working half the time..

Speedo working half the time..
Hey guys, on my POS 96 Accord Lx auto. the speedo only works about half the time. I dont know if this is a common problem or not with this car, anyone know what it would be? VSS?

all i can say is its not common. my auto lx 96 runs just fine.. no problems except i run out of gas all the time lol
Speedo's are sick.. old ppl at the beach .. yuk

No one here knows huh.. well Im gonna guess its the speed sensor on the tranny

Is your check engine light on? Is your D4 light flashing? A bad speed sensor will usually cause a diagnostic code to set. If there are no codes stored, I would guess the gauge is bad. 94 - 97 speedo gauges tend to crap out.
