hey if anyone has any ideas as what i did please let me know!! i was shifting from 3rd to 4th gear at maybe 75 to 80 mph.. maybe more and accidently hit 2nd gear and revved to like 9k-10k somewhere in there even snapped the front motor mount and immidiatly the car wanted to die at idle. i pulled the valve cover off and checked the spacing on the cam lobes and some were sloppy so i put those back to spec... but number 3 cyclinder, had the spark plug completely soaked in gas... if anyone has any insight b4 i try to tear the head off and do more trouble shooting please let me know... thanks!
UPDATE: With the motor running we held the motor at 3,000rpm, sounds fine unitll we bearly advance the throttle body and realses back to 3000, you can hear a clack or loud tap, its not the same noise volume everytime, one time it will be louder than others and diffrent pitches, i am assumeing that i have a mildly bent valve that is slapping at diffrent times. We are not getting excessive blow by in the valve cover. Have not compression tested yet....But something in the head is not right correct? Pull it?

 

before you tear anything apart I would do a leak down test or at least a compression test

 

So we did a compression test...Not good!! 1-100psi 2-60psi 3-15psi 4-30psi....what does that mean?? FYI The motor wont even start w/#1 disconnected, Argg. valves, piston, etc?...
