ok, so i recently burned my neighbor who drives dat civic with my baby.Accord lx non vtec, f22 equipped. hes still cocky revvng his engine, and its funny because he will do a burnout at a high rpm and little wheelspin wit lil smoke lmao!...i told him becuz he is a moron, that he shuld swap the engine..d16 is weak...i beat him by 3 cars! at the track...my question is how much pwer is d16 puttng out?, and r they wrth tuning?, many laugh at the d16 unless its turbo...bt i hav a win under my belt against him and it wuz a pleasureto kick his *** lol....HONDA!!!

d16's are putting out no more then 90whp stock and a f22a1 stock is pushing about 123whp depending on condation of it

 

Depends what D16s you are talking about. The D16z6 SOHC VTEC puts out 125hp while the D16 non VTEC puts out 105hp(maybe a little higher) or less and of course this is to the crank only. They're torque-less.

 

ok thnx guys....i own a f22b2 non vtec i read that in stock form they put about 140 hp...so the d16 is torqueless??? i figured..i drove one before and if felt less torquey.

All Civics that loss to me always make up story saying I'm shooting nitrious. That was the word on the street on my Accord. They just can't admit it that my heavy Accord can take their torqueless Civic. Lol. Thats right, F22 VS D16 still ain't sh*t. Even GSR don't got sh*t on me. Lol.

 

D16 is a complete POS. End of story! The Civic isn't a bad car with a real engine under the hood.

I've seen Accords beat Civics many times before, and I can say it proudly again if needed. And it's not like it's never been done or seen before. Thats how the f*ck I can say that Accords can beat Civics. No replacement for displacement, bruh!

If you live up where I live, I got a buddy with an F22B2 non VTEC Accord you can run. I'm sure he'll wipe out your Civic. Just saying.

 

Ok so your going to say a V8 with 400hp will beat a D16z6 with 400hp not going to happen I have even seen 350 hp Z6's rape V8's with 400+ hp. No replacment for a properly set up tune.. Bruh

 

Why do you people keep comparing engines in different cars. It's like comparing apples to oranges. You have to compare engine to engine in the same car......

I'd like to see a 350hp Z6 in a Camaro beat a 400hp V8 in a Camaro.......

It's all about power to weight ratio and how well your suspension is able to hook up on the track!

Drive an accord up a steep hill, then drive a civic up the same steep hill. I can guarantee you that civic will need to be at WOT just to get up that hill. It's called torque. For some reason fan boys stay true to these torque less cars. I guess they don't have hills where they live?

 

Na...I think they have to go up the hill in 3rd gear @7500-8000 RPM.
