ok i have a 91 hatch with a b18b1 and have two codes and cant find out wht they are the one is 2 long and 3 short and the other is 2 long 1 short

 

code 23 (knock sensor) code 21 (Vtech solenoid valve) these are not good codes to be throwing.

heres how you can read your codes 1 short counts as 10. 1 short counts as 1. so each short just add ten then on how many shorts you get you just add that to your longs. kinda confusing if you catch on to it. you might want to ask up on those codes.

 

swap in the correct ecu. you should not have these codes on a "B18B1." you need to be running either a PR4 (obd0) or an obd1 PR4 or P75 (both are for the 1.8L non-vtec motor)
