98 Jun Civic hatch - Looking for offers
I know they made two of these, one for drag and one for road race, this is suppose to be the drag version. I have the article.
Im not trying to be a douche, but you cant be a dick when selling a car, if this was actually one of the rare 2 jun cars, would you have a little more info then just " rare jun civic, 1 of 2"
here you go...

paint scheme is a little off, can you tell?
They couldnt even put the JUN logo on straight
Trending Topics
The jun parts made this car what it was, it's a hatch now with a swap and two tone paint. I know this car and still have the mag with it in it. Jun built this car, but it was still a usdm ek. It was always a swapped car, and they put there parts on it and raffled it off.
They used a blox intake manifold too... and the wheels are different size, come on man....If your selling a car, and people ask questions, you get get offensive and be a douche. youve yet to correct or come up with an answer. just would think if it was the real one, youd have a little more information...thats what threw me off
lol to that...you have it the wrong way, if Im always trying to sell parts and no one buys them (which they do), it usually means the people out there are broke.
what motor was boosted, because this car was turbo'd earlier this year.'

obviously its not the same as the one in the article, Im sorry, but its not, either you and the other "3" people are wrong or your giving the wrong info...
The civic in the article is a 1996, your selling a 1998...y?
what motor was in it before it was stolen?
what motor was in it when it was turboed earlier this year?
just answer those simple questions and prove me wrong and Ill be on my way

I've seen this in person, and after closer inspection...I'm a bit skeptical. There's some good reasons for it though so hear me out.
I have numbered the differences and I will explain below:

1- The H logo is missing from the wing, perhaps the original wing was stolen. No harm there.
2- This portion of the Jagged Yellow is not the same as Pictured on the JUN Civic. Wrong angle.
3- This portion is VERY easy to tell, You can see that the top spike of Yellow is the wrong size/angle and the angle of both spikes together is wrong.
4- Look how far up the Side Skirt the yellow/green transition is. Along with this also being the incorrect side skirt completely one could assume this was Re-Painted as the part may have been Stolen.
5- The REAL JUN civic has this Spike ending under the U in JUN, yours is at the front of the N.
6- Biohazard logo is too large and in the wrong place. Bumper may have been stolen?
7- BFGoodrich logo is in the wrong place. Again it's likely that the bumper was stolen in the initial theft.
The general scheme of the paint is "correct" but if you look at it yourself you can't tell me it's the same one from that magazine shot.
Now, sure some of the parts of the car may have been stolen and that can explain SOME of these issues...but with a careful eye if you examine the Paint specifically where the Yellow and Green Spike into each other you can very clearly tell the paint on This car DOES NOT correctly match the JUN civic pictured in the magazine based on the provided pictures.
Did they steal the Paint off the car too? Come on man, be honest with yourself and compare things here. You may have bought this from someone CLAIMING it to be the JUN civic and at a glance it sure does look like it. Hell, I thought it was in person and it was not until I just looked at these pictures that I thought otherwise. The reality is, it appears to be a very well done Re-Paint "CLONE" of the JUN Civic.
If I'm wrong and I very well could be wrong Please take a dead on side shot of the car for me to compare to the magazine car.

lol wow iv looked at every pic and every post about this car, and i agree with every1 but the seller. for real man ur going 2b given less crap if ya just delete the post, sand the car down paint it and sell it as YOUR 98 ek hatch w gsr swap. and you get more out of it its starting 2 seem. cause as of now u have alot of members looking at the details of the car and ust not going for it. so take my words as advice, and make this JUN civic your own.
You idiots are right, I spent thousands of dollars to paint it the same and put stickers on it. I dont have to prove nothing to a bunch of nobodys who cant afford this car and have nothing better to do than bash other peoples **** because they dont have **** themselves.
I'm not saying you did spend money to paint it, actually. You said you purchased the shell and I believe that 100% and many of the inconsistencies of the car COULD be because things were stolen from it and replaced/re-worked. What I am getting at is that this was never the Real thing...even before it was stolen. Only the original owner of the JUN Civic and the people who built it can tell you the truth, they would have recorded the VIN's.
Get that information and shut up everybody here, Including me. Without it the car is just an EK Hatch with some nice paint and a GSR.

We already know there is more than one...There's actually more than Two. Which shoots a hole in your 1 of 2 theory. None of those cars pictured match the angles of the yellow segments of the paint on your car.
You need documentation before you claim something like this, it's just nature of the beast. Honestly I would LOVE to be proven wrong so I could say I've seen a Real JUN Civic in person but without any proper documentation nobody is going to believe it enough to pay any extra for it.
Here's as far back as I can track YOUR Car.
in 2008 It was on Civic Forums:

Here's a Cardomain for it in 2006.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2262015
It was for Sale on Tampa Racing in 2005, this owner i presume purchased it from eBay.

Here's an old Non-Working eBay link for the car. Taken from the link above.

What you just posted above pretty much sets in stone that the "JUN Civic" you have was NOT the civic in the magazines...We've already proven that. When you sell an old Muscle Car you don't just say "Yep this is a Yenko Camaro, real deal" and people believe it and buy it for thousands of dollars more than a normal Camaro. You have to prove this is a "JUN" Civic other than just saying it, otherwise it's just a tribute.
