yes you will loose massive low end
you need to have it tuned.
if you upgraded your valvetrain i would have the revlimiter extended too

96 ek? wouldn't the motor be a b16a3 in reality?
odds are it had a SOHC engine to begin with, the b16a3 was only in the 94-96 del sol vtec. in 97 it was the b16a2 and then the b16a2 wasnt used again till 99 for the SI
so it's a USDM motor then...
i have a ek and i was looking for the jdm sir motor and for the easiest swap (that i wanted) i learned i had to get the 96+ jdm b16. because the distributor and what not is different, isn't it?

still need hlep
still need hlep
have it TUNED by a professional
2) consider an ecu upgrade
what else do you need?
Yeah there is the problem I am facing now.
First, I live in a stupid small city that doesn't have a dyno, and a professional taht can tune my car(no one else better then me and my freinds ahahah).
Secondly, that I want to make sure . the cam is runnign the way is it before I spend anymoremoney on other upgrade, such as all u guy suggest a better ECU and DYNO test.
yeah , Ihave to solve this issue before I spend any more money I hate to spend any more money before I go anyfurther.
Just to let u guy know that the nearest place that provide dyno is 8 hour away from where I live, and what if I spend the extra 1000 dollar for the TOda ecu or after market ecu and my car still run like crap?
WOuldn't be a good thing to find out if the Cam suck?
I am goign to get my stock cam shaft in tonite and test run again and see if the cam I purchase .......got rid off or a bad cam toda a cam.
but thanks for all u guys help dou, very appreciated.

Toda suck.
make my car so slow.
make my car so slow.
just get it dyno TUNED, not tested. If you can't dyno it then you probably shouldn't bother with the cam. I would go with a p28 ecu chipped by kenji. He's on this board and does good work from what I've heard. Just make sure that all the codes remain. The Mugen program gets rid of all the engine codes so if you disconnect something it won't throw a code. No need to spend $1000 on an ecu program, that's ridiculous. Ask kenji, I'm sure it will be well below $500 for ecu and program.

so ..it sound like the cam ..should be running the way it should be now?
slow?
until I can get it tune and dyno right?
