Going street/strip w/ turbo. Want to build as much hp before turbo as possible.

b18c would be over all better engine but i think a turbo h23 would be a beast in there if u plan on building it

H22a with internals and turbo get a good suspension setup if you want to go xing...

The engine is gonna get the works, I'm gonna try and squeeze every ounce of hp out of it and you think the H23 would be the best route? Also, that would be better for torque as well?

I think an H23 is an ok route...

But, why not go H22? The H23 is 40 Hp less powerful, and has a 1000 RPM lower redline than the H22.

Don't plan on road racing with a build and boosted H22 in a Civic. Not going to happen. Ever.

I personally think turbo H22 would be insane.

Why's that?

And why is that? Can you care to explain? Just because it weighs a bit more than a b18c doesn't mean its going to handle like ****.

Of course you can road race with an H22 hatch. An H22 weighs about as much more than a b18c as I can put on over christmas break. And an h22 is cheaper becasue of b series haters. H22 will rule all in a hatch hands down.
