Default PO141 - 03 accord

I found some other threads regarding this code, but no exact instructions for how to fix it. I've read that the sensor itself is bad or the sensor's relay is bad. What can I do?

Replace the rear oxygen sensor. Very common failure in the 7th gen. !00 bucks or less from the dealer, buy the 10 dollar socket from harbor freight and replace it yourself. Or pay someone professional to install your part for 100 or less. Stress on the less. I'll bet you could call your local dealer and ask them if they can replace it for 200 bucks plus tax they will say yeah.

I am assuming I need that 10 dollar tool to be able to unscrew the sensor from under the car? can you direct me which sensor I need? is the sensor the same one as the one in the front, the oxygen sensor?

# 31 in this picture http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...+PIPE+%28L4%29 thats based on a 03 4 door 4 cyl LX model. Yes you will need this http://www.harborfreight.com/3-8-eig...nch-97177.html very easy to replace. Slide the passenger seat all the way forward and get at the connector under the flap of carpet.

part 31 isn't listed on the buy list, maybe you mean part no 17 or 22?

With any emission part, it is best to use the VIN# when buying parts. Honda has numerous versions of the LX for example (ULEV, UL etc). HTH

BTW, KWay just used the list as an example, not to say that was your part. Again, it depends on the VIN

Well, here at Spreen, we have this @#*!! firewall, and I cannot see links, pics or anything that's not embeded into the message, sorry. PM me your VIN and I'll get you the correct part & price.

#17 would be the rear oxygen sensor. It appears you used the VIN search function. If so that would be the correct part for your car.
