have a power goal, psi doesn't mean anything 'cuz different turbos are different sizes and psi would change depending on size and trim level. Research turbos before jumping into this project.

And that link is garbage, parts are not reliable. Research, you're a long way from building this thing.

No, you can turbo an h22 without taking apart the motor, but there are limitations in place that if not kept within that range you will end up blowing up your motor, but you should definitely have it professionally installed and tuned. Take it to a reputable shop. Also keep in mind that any turboed car has a "timer"... eventually your going to need a new motor or a rebuild with a turbo application, and much of the longevity of your stock motor relys on its tune.. crappy tune means your motor will not last as long. The tune could make it last from 2 months to 2 years.. Also depends how you drive and boost pulls.

To answer your question above, generally speaking, ive seen that a general turbo setup for an h22 is no more than 8 pounds on a t3/t4 setup.. Turbos are not all about the psi output.. you have to take in consideration the size and volume of air the turbo will push. There are endless combinations and setups.

What exactly is done to your car, please share. There is a ton of things you need to do to prep before installing a turbo.

if your going to go the turbo route...or really do anything performance wise for that matter... it is definitely recommended that you learn and do some research on turbo setups and applications, and how everything works in general so that you are self aware. The more you know, the better. Also... so you don't get screwed over.

also.. imo it's a waist of money to buy an already put together kit.
