When you guys are cutting the H out of your EK and replacing that with the
chicken net. What do you guys use to keep it in place.

 

I bought an aftermarket honda H. Looks the same as stock but it has 2 screws in the back which is what it holding it to the net.

 

will glue work.
or how about JB welding that ****.

 

i don't want H on the front grill. i like the whole thing cut out and replaced with the chicken net

Sorry i missread the question, I though u wanted to keep the h on the net. I used bondo when i did it. I no longer have this grill but it held up good for the time I had it.

 

Those are Honda Si grills, you can't make them look exactly that those. If you don't wanna pay full price for Honda grills, just get knock offs. 96-98 Civic grills you can cut and modify, but the 99-00 grills has that plastic rod going across the whole grill. My suggestion is just get a knock off and put in a different mesh that looks like the Si mesh.

 

Oh, you have a 96 Civic my bad. Just cut out the center, get a Si-looking mesh and drill holes and use zip ties to hold it together.

 

This guy made a NICE looking grill and I think he explained it. I think it looks sweet and he only glued the emblem on so you can choose to glue it on or leave it H-less... I saw a pic of someones car here that had his civic emblem glued in the front grill, I thought that was cool... Just some insight.
