Default DEI 689m with Clifford 50.5x?

I had uninstalled my Clifford 50.5x with remote start from my Chevy truck that a shop had installed. Now I'm installing it in my 96 civic. Basically I want to make the car remote start safe. After research I discovered the DEI 689m manual tranny module. Will this work with my Clifford 50.5x and DEI 500m remote start module? Even thought I don't think either one has a 'neutral safety switch input.'

The problem is finding the dei 689m, or the pac modual that was like it. Both have been disco. But to answer your question is yes it will work.

Alright thanks man. Got your message too about upgrading to the 50.7x. I'll look into it.
