Finally getting my license
I just enrolled for the MSF class and hopefully I'll have my license in two weeks The class is only two days long which is two Saturdays. I really lagged getting it, I tried to take it at DMV but couldn't pass the circle part on my old 07 GSXR600 and I had my permit expire twice and when I take the written part that would be my third time.
Should I get my permit again before I go to the class or just wait til I pass?

If you have experience just rent a vespa and take the test at DMV sooooooooooooo easy. I've heard good things about the MRS classes though. I just didn't want to fork out the cash cause my bike was $585 to register at the DMV.
Today I had my class it was 7:00am to 5:30pm. 7am to noon was book work and watching videos and after that it was all riding. It was boring I kinda wish I didn't sign up. too late now, at least i'll have my license next week.
I should have done this.
The MSF course isn't so bad, it may get a bit tedious and boring at times, but the basic skills they teach you are so often overlooked by people who simply breeze the DMV test with a rental and hop right on to a sportsbike. The emergency swerve is the perfect example, the number of guys who ride the local canyon who never took a MSF course who can't perform a competent emergency swerve is astounding.
Besides, passing the MSF course lowers your insurance premiums.

I found the MSF class quite useful. Though the best part was that in Cali, you don't have to take the behind the wheel exam if you took the MSF course, only the written.
Trying to take the DMV test in a GSXR600 is pretty badass. I've ridden an R1 for a year (no accidents or drops) and if I had to take the test again now, I don't think I would try the exam on a 600cc sport bike.
