Fast Idle adjusting
I just cleaned my egr runner, egr valve, IACV, FITV and throttle body a few days ago. I bled the coolant last night it took almost half a gallon. Today I started it and it ran great, but took a long time to warm up (fan coming on). I tried to reset the idle. I turned it off jumped the ECU stated it right back up unplugged the IACV and no change (isn't the idle speed supposed to drop). I adjusted the idle air control screw to about 550 RPM's and turned it off. I pulled the back up fuse for 15 min., plugged ECU and IACV back in. When I started it it ran at 550 and stayed there. Is that the fast idle? Is the FITV bad? Tomorrow I will try to reset it again I'll warm it up then jump the ECU with it running and pull the IACV plug and see what happens. Is there a way to test the FITV? Could it be the IACV? This is a 94'EX F22B1 the motor is actually a 95' though (or so I've been told by the previous owner) Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
