Just bought a b18c1 and plan on installing soon in my EG.

Wondering what type of oil, tranny fluid to use?.

Heard things about royal purple, castrol 10w30 etc..

I'm not sure what type to put into my tranny when installed.

 

oil, any major brand 5w30 or 10w30. as for tranny fluid, honda MTF its about $7 a bottle and you will need just over 2 of them (2.1)

 

Honda MTF do not use motor oil in your trans.
