My 00 gsr is throwing code twenty two according to my friends ECU jump, and i have no vtec engagement since the code was thrown. I've read that my vtec oil pressure switch may be bad but what do all of you guys think i should do about this situation? (for background) - Car is overall in good shape with about 90k miles on it

 

low oil or oil pressure cancause that code as well as a bad switch. check your oil

 

oil was very low... i put it 2 quarts and it still wasnt full. I just changed the oil 3k ago so i dont know where this oil is going, i havent seen or smelled any evidence of a leak. CEL is still on

 

did you reset the ecu, if not pull the ecu fuse OR disconnect the negative battery terminal for a minute.

 

i cleared the code at advance auto, the code that popped up there was 1259 for fuel/air management but like i said before, it jumped as code 22. It hasnt come back on... think my car will be ok?
