Default ***STOLEN: 2000 HONDA CIVIC CX*** (WI)

Never thought I'd have to make a thread like this, but here I am writing in despair. My car was stolen this morning between the times of 5:15AM- 8:45AM in front of my parent's house. We live in Franklin and stolen vehicles are very rare in this area, yet still possible. Here is the run down of my car:

-2000 HONDA CIVIC CX (SILVER)
-PLATE: 860-PME
-CARBON FIBER HOOD (WITH NO HOOD PINS) AND CARBON FIBER DUCKBILL
-DRAG-29 RIMS (BRONZE) W/ FALKEN AZENIS
-JDM B16A W/ JDM GSR LSD TRANNY
-TURBO KIT
- HOLSET TURBO (HY35)
- AUTOWORKS MINI RAM TURBO MANIFOLD
- XS BOV
- EBAY 35mm WASTEGATE
- PWR INTERCOOLER (FRONT MOUNT)
- FULL 3” CUSTOM EXHAUST W/ 4” MANGNAFLOW EXHAUST (OVAL CANISTER)
-KONI YELLOWS W/ GROUND CONTROLS (***one of the front sleeves is from ebay***)
-BLOX INTAKE MANIFOLD
-INFINITY SUB-WOOFER
-GSR FRONT LEATHER SEATS
-CTR CLUSTER
-PIECE OF THE FRONT BUMPER IS RIPPED OFF NEAR THE FENDER (PASSENGER SIDE)
-It should be smoking due to the turbo seal going out.

SECURITY:
-Fuel kill switch BUT was not turned on...... Now, I learn my lesson for not turning it on when I live in a rich suburban area.

Pictures (most recent):

-If you see any of these parts for sale, please let me know ASAP!!!

Please if you can, keep a look out for her. I cherished every single piece of that car, all that time, money, and shedding blood all gone due to ****ing low class thieves. What a bunch of bullshit.

Thanks H-T, for letting me rant.

UPDATE:
I talked to my neighbor today and he said he saw a Caucasian male in his middle 20's (skinny face, long nose, ear rings, and in all white) slowly park his car on the side of the road near my house Saturday (8/7) afternoon. He saw him get out of his car and quickly walk over to check out my car for a few seconds and took off. He did not know what kinda of car it was, but said it was white, 2 doors, had a front lip, side skirts, and an exhaust. Hope this helps. Keep your eyes open.

Sorry to hear about this, that was a pretty damn clean car. I wish you the best of luck getting ANY part of it back.

What security measures did you have? (EDIT: Now posted by the OP in the first post)

Man, don't you hate when the only witness is someone who does not know the car model, etc? It happens more often than it should and it sucks.

All those mods and no alarm and you are surprised when it gets jacked?.... That couple seconds was the dude checking to see if you have a alarm.... He was like "No.... what a fool.... It's mine."

I bet 50 people have done that same thing to my car.... but they see it protected and move on.....

This is why it is advisable that if you have good neighbors talk to them and ask them if they see anyone poking around to be wary and get good descriptions. Kind of a "neighborhood watch" situation, and while it's not going to be perfect, it could be the difference between no leads and a license plate number and person description.

Obviously, the OP's neighbor was alert enough to watch the person eying his car, but not alert enough to realize it could be somebody scoping a car to take. A bit of notice could have made the difference.

Truth.

Well even if he had an alarm, it might not have stopped the guy. If he was good enough, he could have gotten around it (depending on the model and A LOT on how it was installed). Still better than nothing though.

The kill switch however, MIGHT have stopped him enough to where he might have just tried to strip some of the interior stuff. Don't know how easy it is to find where you put it (don't tell us btw, keep it safe for the next car).

Odds of finding it not stripped look pretty grim at this point, but I do hope they find who did it at the very least!

Out of curiousity...I've never had a heavily modded car stolen from me *knock on wood*...How does insurance handle that?

Is it blue book no matter what or if you have receipts or pictures of the parts installed will they compensate?

Sorry about the loss too man...best of luck with finding it...

from what i understand if you want to have all your fancy aftermarket parts covered you will need to have the car professionally appraised, which includes taking pictures of EVERYTHING. then you get to pay out the *** in insurance. my buddy is getting a stupidly large amount of coverage on his 2jz/6spd/mk4 diff swapped mkIII supra so that's why i have a little knowledge in this area lol.

Sorry for your lost but I don't understand why you upgrade your car so much and spend so much money on parts yet you only spent a few on a fuel kills switch. SMH
