you check to make sure the starter signal wire is still good? the one with the female terminal and connecting to the starter itself?

I have run into this problem many times on 88-91 civics and crx's. What I have found is the start portion of the ignition switch quits working. I have solved this problem by installing a pushbutton to start the car. You can test to see if this is the problem by turning your key on all the way make sure the car is not in gear and hooking a wire from your positive battery post and touching the small wire terminal on your starter. It should turn over.
