hey guys i know my 90 accord has bad valve seals because in the winter when i start it up it smokes blue for a good minute or two. but a few months ago it started smoking a lot just when i drive. basically anything after 3000 rmps it smokes blue and i was just wondering if that is just the valve seals or are the piston rings fried too? also could it be a blown head gasket? because i have noticed a bit of oil coming right out of where the head meets the block

 

could most likely to be your piston rings do a compression check that would be another way to find out

 

Well it started smoking right after i raced a crx and then one time it smoked white for weeks and now its sometimes blue and sometimes white or gray so that is also y i assumed its the
head gasket

 

that could be it to just do a compression check to see if u get between 160-180 across 180 for our f motors meaning it it has full compression anything WAY lower then 160 prolly means its time for a new headgasket

 

chk compression, if bad replace head gasket.

 

My boy's 99 accord did the same and turned out his headgasket and rings were shot, are you burning alot of oil?
