D16Z6 Tranny wont shift into gear

Default D16Z6 Tranny wont shift into gear

ok so i bought a used si tranny and i pulled it apart and found out that the ISB was out and the mittle gear contral arm thing was broken off and chunck were inside so i got a new ISB and instailed it and thought i fixed it but when i put everything back in it wont sift into gears at allso i dont know what to do about it anymore. should i get a new tranny or try and fix mine?

So did you replace the broken shift fork or just the ISB? Because if you read your post thats what it sounds like.

Also did you clean out all the metal chunks inside the transmission?

Did you properly align the interlock and interlock guide bolt and then torque it to spec? If you don't, you will not only damage the interlock when you put the interlock guide bolt back in, but also be locked out of some gears.
